Pay Your Tuition Online

Several financial aid options are available to students enrolled in the HCSM program:

Federal Financial Aid

Financial aid is available to eligible students. In order to receive financial aid, a student must enroll on “at least a half-time basis” each semester in a degree-seeking program. In addition, a student must maintain “satisfactory academic progress” toward completing a degree and be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident. Students must complete a new Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) every year. This form can be completed online at www.fafsa.ed.gov

Based on demonstrated need, students may be eligible for either subsidized or unsubsidized student federal loans. Subsidized Federal Stafford Loans are need-based. These loans do not require students to pay interest on their loans while in school. Graduate students can borrow up to $8,500 or up to their calculated need. The interest rate is variable and repayment begins when the student leaves school. Unsubsidized Federal Stafford Loans are not need-based. These loans require students to pay interest on their loans while in school. Graduate students can borrow up to $10,000 or up to their calculated “cost of attendance.”

First-time borrowers must complete an “entrance interview” before funds can be disbursed into their accounts. Students can complete this requirement online at www.loyno.edu/financialaid/staffordloanentranceinterviews.html

All loans must be repaid. For more information on repayment options, students should visit the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships at www.loyno.edu/financialaid/loanrepaymentinfo.html

Private Loans

Private loan programs are available to students with good credit. For more information on these programs, visit the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships at www.loyno.edu/financialaid

Employer-Sponsored Tuition Reimbursement

Some employers provide tuition payment plans to their employees. For employees participating in employer-sponsored tuition reimbursement programs, up to 90 percent of tuition may be deferred until the end of the semester in which they are incurred. Contact the School of Nursing at 1-800-488-6257 to request a promissory note.

Monthly Tuition Payment Plans

Other payment options are available for students who may not qualify for federal financial aid programs. Advance monthly tuition payment plans are available through Academic Management Services www.amsweb.com and Tuition Management Services www.afford.com
