This is a paid position.

The mission of INROADS is to develop and place talented minority youth in business and industry and prepare them for corporate and community leadership. INROADS seeks high performing African American, Hispanic, and Native American Indian students for internship opportunities with some of the nation's largest companies.

Classification: Preferably sophomore/rising junior but freshman will be considered
GPA:  3.0 preferred but 2.8 will be reviewed
Computer Skills (Intermediate knowledge of Word, Beginning Knowledge of Java, Excel, & PowerPoint)
As an INROADS intern, applicants must be Hispanic, African American and Native American, U.S. citizens. F-1 Visas are not eligible.
Requirements: Must be a self starter and have good organizational, oral and written communication skills.  Must be proficient with MS Word and should have basic or working knowledge of Object oriented software, client server and web application architecture.  Basic knowledge of relational Databases and Java programming.

General Description of position:  Software Business analyst/quality control.  This position is a primary interface with users.  Intern will work with the S/W Architect and users to define requirements, coordinate activities and develop user help and support document.

Interested students must submit an application on the INROADS website, www.inroads.org. Transcripts will be needed to verify grades and classification.  Remember, no candidate can be closer than 54 hours away from graduation by May 2005.
